THE CORONAVIRUS 19 PANDEMIC HAS SUBSTANTIALLY AFFECTED THE POPULATION OF AGUA DE DIOS IN WHICH THE LACK OF EMPLOYMENT AND THEREFORE THE POSSIBILITY OF BRINGING FOOD TO HOMES EVERY DAY IS MORE DIFFICULT ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR JOBS AND WHO ARE MORE VULNERABLE.

​Therefore, during the year 2020 and for the duration of this global crisis, the greatest efforts of our foundation will focus on bringing essential food, every 2 weeks, to the most affected families such as:

​

• Mothers head of household.

• Helpless elderly.

• Families who live off daily wages.

WHILE WE ARE PROVIDING THIS SUPPORT, WITH THIS CAMPAIGN WE SEEK TO MIGRATE FROM ASSISTENTIALISM TO COOPERATIVISM:

The most important thing about the donation of "Groceries of Love” is that we are going to start changing our way of acting from assistentialism to cooperativism   where instead of giving away, we seek to migrate towards a cooperative model promoting root solutions, a change of mentality and culture, where the families that will be benefited with the essencial food, do something in consideration for their own benefit and for their own community. That said, each family, in exchange, will deliver plastic products (bottles, used toothbrushes, finished toothpaste, candy bags, etc.) to the Congregation of HH.SS.CC. and they will store those plastic products at the Santa Ana Boarding School and, once there is enough amount of plastic,that plastic will be recycled  to make children's parks  and picnic tables where the children and the involved community will benefit.
