Declared unsafe in 2013,
The Santa Ana Boarding School is a housing area for more than 30 orphan girls and school where more than 150 children attend classes everyday, including orphans and poor children from surrounding villages. Following several inspections, the housing area was considered livable but a more permanent community school was needed by January 2016.
On June 7th, 2018
Extending A Hand Foundation fulfilled it's dream to build a better home and school for the children of Agua de Dios. After the discovery of a building in Villa San Jose, we started construction of a new building to include 4 classrooms, play areas, computer labs, 2 rooms with 16 beds, boys' and girls' bathrooms, lockers, a library and multi-purpose lounge.

The Santa Ana Boarding School has been the main project of Extending A Hand for years and finally we get to our dream begin to materialize for the children in Agua de Dios, Colombia.
